Insomnia (2018) 60 x 60 x 12 cm, stones, tights, installation.
This circular installation consists of rocks placed inside tights, highlighting the fascinating contrast between the roughness of the rocks and the fragility of the tights. Despite their delicacy, the tights hold and contain the rocks, creating a striking visual dynamic. At the time I created this piece, I was struggling with sleep issues, which inspired the concept of a space between waking and dreaming—a state of sleeplessness where the body becomes insensible, and all materials lose their normal concreteness, floating in space as if in a state of weightlessness.
